Jennie Day January 2018

Our first Jennie Day Meal of 2018 consisted of Italian Sausage and Peppers, with Rosemary Roasted Red Potatoes, homemade Sour Cream Pound Cake, and Rainbow Sugar cookies for dessert.  This month’s meal was sponsored by the Borine Family, and Jill Borine graciously provided the colorful cookies that are always a hit with children and adults alike.  Our thanks go out to Paul, Jill, and Dan for their sponsorship!

We were also assisted this month by Meg Pressman, who we met during Jen’s hospital stay and was always one of Jen’s favorites (and ours too).  Meg is a massage therapist who works with the children and parents in the hospital to provide a few minutes of stress-relieving therapy to patients and parents who need it.  Meg was a constant source of companionship and positive energy for both Joy and Jen during the in-patient hospital stays, and she remains special to us to this day.  Thanks Meg, for both your help yesterday and all you did for our family during Jen’s treatment.
