We are very pleased to announce The Jennie Foundation is expanding it’s scholarship program for 2019!
Our Secretary and Scholarship Coordinator, Joy LePera, has made arrangements for two $500 Jennie Foundation Scholarships, one each in the fields of Music and Nursing, to be awarded to students from John Jay Senior High School, in Hopewell Junction, NY. As with our other scholarships, the recipients will be chosen by the school’s Guidance Office, based upon our established criteria of GPA, post-secondary school enrollment, and achievement in the face of personal or scholastic adversity.
This brings our total number of scholarships in 2019 to eight: four to students at Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls, NY, two to students at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and the two new John Jay Scholarships. Thanks to your support, all eight scholarships are fully funded for 2019!
With the August Jennie Day fast approaching, we would like to thank our donors and patrons for their support of The Jennie Foundation Meal Program. Our 2018 Meal Program is sponsored through November, and we are looking for sponsors for both the December 2018 meal, and also the meals in 2019. If you or your organization would like to sponsor a meal, please see our Meal Sponsorship page at https://a.jenniefoundation.org/meal-sponsorship/
As always, we thank you for your support. Nothing we do would be possible without you!
